Little Big Soldier [2010] DVDrip

Synopsis:
It was the darkest times in China, when ruthless warlords waged battles to satiate their endless aggression. Millions of lives were perished, and those who survived had only two choices - To kill or be killed.
The battalions of warring states Liang and Wei collided in a bloodbath that lasted from dawn till dusk. Only two men were left standing - A FOOT SOLDIER from Liang (Jackie Chan) and the rival GENERAL from Wei (Wang Leehom). The soldier could survive because he's an expert in playing dead, with a device strapped on his body that could protrude an arrowhead for added realism.

The Soldier captured the wounded General, hoping to use the enemy as his exit - By handing the General to the Liang warlord, the Soldier could be honorably discharged and returned home to his peaceful life. The young General, though taken captive, was always condescending towards the Soldier. The two men were often at loggerheads during the long and winding journey.

Along the way, they encountered a mesmerizing but scheming songstress, who drugged the duo and stole the General's jade medallion, the only evidence of General's identity. In the course of pursuit, they became entangled with a cohort of refugees who robbed all their food and water. To make their life even more complicated, they were stalked by a ferocious bear. The odd couple was forced to collaborate in order to survive one crisis after another.

The movie tells about a morning show producer, who is passing the tests by her chauvinistic correspondent trying to help her to find the real love. Ok Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler are obviously great in this movie - whatched The Ugly Truth Trailer before Terminator:Salvation and couldn't stop laughing for the first 5 minutes of the movie :)

Champagne for Caesar

Starring Ronald Colman, Vincent Price and Art Linkletter, this movie is about a man who's extremely smart, so he goes on a game show using his intellect to win money. But when he starts to win too much, the show's financier tries to figure out ways to get him off.

I have to say it's been awhile since I've seen any movie with Vincent Price in it, and this was definitely one worth seeing. I really enjoy his sinister characters combined with comedy, he really makes it work. Plus the whole story of this guy being really smart and going on a game show to win money. It was kind of reminiscent of "Slumdog Millionaire."

So if you enjoy an old comedy, especially one with Vincent Price, check this one out.

Grosse Pointe Blank

This film with a star studded cast includes John Cusack, Alan Arkin, Dan Aykroyd, and Joan Cusack is about an assassin who goes to his high school reunion only to meet up with his high school sweetheart.

I'm probably one of the last people to see this movie, but I still have to review it, and I enjoyed it. John Cusack does a great job as an assassin who's questioning about his profession. Also, most movies about assassins don't take the lighthearted approach to it, so I thought that was pretty interesting.

Overall, I'd say yeah, see this. It's definitely original and has a great cast. Which includes Minnie Driver who had a VERY bit part in the James Bond film "GoldenEye," see if you can spot her.

The Big Lebowski

Written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, this movie stars Jeff Bridges and John Goodman. It's about an aging hippie, who's mistaken for a rich man by the same name.

Like so many other older films, I'm probably the last person in the world to see this movie. Well I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Jeff Bridges is one talented actor. He plays an AWESOME hippie in this movie, and then at the same time he can play an excellent villain in "Iron Man."

I also really like John Goodman. He was so great as the sidekick here, his dialogue was just hilarious. So definitely check this movie out.
